Survey: AI Tools Help Improve Patient Experience

Feb. 17, 2025
RevSpring concludes that AI not only helps with reducing the staff burden in healthcare but also leads to better patient satisfaction

Nashville-based portfolio company RevSpring announced the results of its AI Patient Engagement Pulse” online survey on Monday, February 17. The YouGov conducted survey sought to understand patient attitudes toward artificial intelligence (AI) in non-clinical healthcare communications.

The main takeaway from the survey was that AI tools have the potential to reduce staff burden—while also improving patient experience, as the healthcare industry suffers from staffing shortages.

According to RevSpring, patients prefer the healthcare industry to use AI tools if it means less wait time and faster services.

“By understanding individual patient behaviors and preferences, even when not explicitly stated, providers can offer the right technologies to the right patients, creating personalized experiences that build trust and improve outcomes,” RevSpring CEO Scott MacKenzie said in a statement.
