OFFICIAL RULES for the Healthcare Innovation Tech Trek™ Giveaway at
HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition 2019
ELIGIBILITY: Participation in the Healthcare Innovation Tech Trek™ Giveaway is open only to individual, registered attendees of the HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition 2019 (the “Conference”) who are age 18 or older and a legal U.S. resident at the time of the drawing (each an “Eligible Entrant”). Companies represented by individual attendees are not eligible for participation in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway, and any such company does not have any claim to the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway awarded to the Winner. Employees and the families of employees or contractors of Endeavor Business Media or any of the sponsors of the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway (including spouses, siblings, children, and parents of their spouses or persons living in the same household of any of the foregoing) are ineligible for participation in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. Incomplete or illegible entries, or entries received after the deadlines set forth in these Official Rules are not eligible for participation in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. The HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Residents of the states of Alaska, Hawaii, New York and United States Territories are not eligible to participate in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: No payment, proof of purchase or entry fee is required for entry in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. Some eligibility restrictions apply. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning.
ENTRIES: Each Eligible Entrant may submit only one (1) entry for each card that contains all PLATINUM level stamps and at least four (4) GOLD level stamps (the “Initial Entry”). Each Eligible Entrant may submit an additional one (1) entry for each additional GOLD level stamp beyond the minimum number of GOLD level stamps required for the Initial Entry. Entries will be accepted at the HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition 2019 event between February 14, 2019 at 12:00 PM (EST) and February 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM (Noon) (EST). To be a qualified entry, the entry must be timely submitted on the official HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ entry form, including completion of entrant’s name, valid mailing address, valid cell phone number, valid e‑mail address. No other method of entry will be accepted. All entries become the property of Endeavor Business Media and its subsidiaries and will not be returned. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. No responsibility is assumed for illegible, lost, misdirected, or late entries. Endeavor Business Media reserves the right to disqualify any entry. Disqualification of an entry may result from any non-compliance with these Official Rules.
PRIZE: Three (3) trips to Cancun, Mexico, each such trip for 2 adult individuals that includes air transportation from one of the 48 contiguous states of the United States and one (1) room at an all-inclusive hotel (8 days, 7 nights) (each such trip, a “Grand Prize” up to a maximum of three (3)) will be awarded. Travel for the Grand Prize must be completed prior to December 31, 2019. Four (4) Apple Watch Series 4 (each a “Prize” up to a maximum of four (4)). Approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $4,500. Approximate retail value of each other Prize is $400. Winners may not transfer or assign the Grand Prize or any Prize resulting from the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. Neither the Grand Prize nor any other Prize may be substituted for its cash equivalent. Endeavor Business Media exclusively reserve all rights to substitute a comparable prize if the Grand Prize or any other Prize becomes unavailable or undeliverable. Endeavor Business Media will be responsible for shipping and delivery of the Grand Prize or any other Prize, as applicable, to Winner’s designated location only within the 48 contiguous states of the United States.
DRAWING: A random drawing under the supervision of Endeavor Business Media from qualified entries will be held at Booth #3529 in the Exhibit Hall (Orlando Convention Center, Orlando, FL) at 2:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, February 14, 2019, as part of HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition 2019. Endeavor Business Media and its affiliates, including Healthcare Innovation, assume no responsibility for unanticipated delays in holding the drawing. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they entered the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway with within five (5) days following the winner selection. Endeavor Business Media shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to Winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the relevant Prize within five (5) days from the time award notification was sent (the “Claim Period”), or fails to timely return within the Claim Period a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the Grand Prize or other Prize, as applicable, may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Each Winner, including the Grand Prize Winner, is limited to one (1) Prize per Eligible Entrant. The receipt by Winner of the applicable Prize offered in this HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. Any violation of these Official Rules by any Winner (at Endeavor Business Media’s sole discretion) will result in such Winner’s disqualification as winner of the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway and all privileges as Winner will be immediately terminated. Determination of the Winner shall be made by HEALTHCARE INNOVATION and/or their agents in their sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and binding. All Winners will need to release their full name, shipping address, and contact information to receive the applicable Prize. The Winner of the Grand Prize or of each other Prize will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and the guest of each Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign a guest release adhering to the terms and conditions set within.
ODDS: Odds of winning the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway depend on the number of qualified entries received.
PERMITS, TAXES AND CHARGES: The Winner shall pay all applicable taxes (whether local, state, federal, or international), surcharges, tariffs, duties, shipping and handling charges, and all other costs associated with taking possession of the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway Grand Prize or other Prize. The Grand Prize Winner and his or her guest shall be solely responsible for obtaining, if necessary, and the cost of obtaining any international travel documentation, passport, visa, or other governmental permits required to leave or re-enter the United States. The Winner is also responsible for title, license, registration, wireless access and all other requirements related to ownership and use of the Prize.
NO WARRANTY: The HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway Grand Prize and Prizes will be provided in “as is” condition. No replacement will be provided regardless of the condition of the Tech Trek™ Giveaway Prize at delivery. Neither Endeavor Business Media, the sponsors of the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway, nor any of their agents or representatives assume any responsibility for damages, losses, or injury resulting from the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway or its operation. Endeavor Business Media and its agents and representatives make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. ENDEAVOR BUSINESS MEDIA AND ITS AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES EXPRESSLY EXCLUDE ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
DISCLOSURE: Entry in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway constitutes permission to Endeavor Business Media and its affiliates and sponsors to use and disclose any provided information to comply with applicable law, and/or for promotional and commercial purposes, except where prohibited by law. All entries and the information provided in them becomes the property of Endeavor Business Media and may be used by Endeavor Business Media and its affiliates in conformity with that company’s applicable privacy policies and terms of use.
WINNER: The Grand Prize Winner and other Winners will be required to participate in post-drawing publicity promotions, which may include, but not be limited to, the use of the Winner’s name, photograph or likeness. The Winner will be required to provide personal identification and verification of address in order to claim the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway and to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days of the drawing if requested by Endeavor Business Media or the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Endeavor Business Media reserves the exclusive right to determine whether the Winner has met the post‑drawing requirements in order to claim the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. Should the Winner be determined to be ineligible for any reason Endeavor Business Media reserves the right to conduct a random drawing at any time after the conclusion of the HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition 2019. Any alternate drawing is subject to scheduling by Endeavor Business Media without prior notice to any entrant.

SUBMISSION: Submission of an entry in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway constitutes the entrant’s agreement to abide by these Official Rules. By participating in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway, Entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold Endeavor Business Media and its affiliates and sponsors harmless from any-and-all claims, liabilities, losses, and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway. Endeavor Business Media reserves the right to modify or amend these Official Rules at any time and from time to time, without prior notice.
DISPUTE: First, we want to address your concerns without needing a formal legal case. Before filing a claim against any party in connection with the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting [email protected]. We will try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission – and only then – , you may bring a formal proceeding as described in the remainder of this paragraph. ENTRANT AGREES THAT: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE HEALTHCARE INNOVATION TECH TREK™ GIVEAWAY, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT CLASS ACTION, AND THAT ANY JUDICIAL PROCEEDING SHALL TAKE PLACE IN THE STATE OR FEDERAL COURTS IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, INCLUDING COSTS INCURRED IN ENTERING THE HTM TECH TREK™ GIVEAWAY, BUT NOT INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (3) ENTRANT WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES AND RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR INCREASED.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Endeavor Business Media reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway in the event the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway is unable to run as planned or for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, tampering, unauthorized intervention, and any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION Tech Trek™ Giveaway.
