BREAKING NEWS: CMS Confirms ICD-10 Transition Delay to 2014

In announcing a final rule on administration simplification around the establishment of a unique health plan identifier, the Department of Health and Human Services on Aug. 24 also confirmed the shift to Oct. 1, 2014 of the required date of compliance with the transition to the new ICD-10 coding system.
