RevSpring will launch its new technology platform, emerge, for hospitals and health systems at this week’s HFMA ANI tradeshow in Orlando, FL.
The new technology platform integrates RevSpring’s complete range of services into a single, automated engagement engine. This enables healthcare organizations to utilize data intelligence and analytics to tailor messages to specific segments of their patient population, while accounting for individuals’ needs, preferences and response rates.
The launch of emerge comes just one month after an increase in postage rates by the United States Postal Service. This, combined with rising patient financial responsibility is forcing hospitals and health systems to seek more efficient and effective tools to optimize patient communication and payment.
According to RevSpring’s senior vice president of healthcare solutions Marty Callahan, emerge will enable hospitals and health systems to implement Active Patient Engagement strategies within their revenue cycle. “Our goal has always been to drive a better financial outcome for the provider and a better customer experience for the patient,” said Callahan. “With emerge™, our clients can do this in a much more precise and scalable way. By automating workflow, targeting messaging, and leveraging robust analytics for continuous improvement, customers will see real growth in their patient payments and deliver a more personal consumer experience for their patients.”
The emerge platform includes upgrades to RevSpring’s current eservice solutions. Key upgrades include a redesigned patient payment and self-service platform and a new user interface. The added functionality will better enable mobile transactions and give healthcare customers more functionality when taking payments at the point of service and after discharge.
RevSpring will be exhibiting at HFMA ANI in Orlando, FL, June 22-24. Interactive demos of the emerge platform’s workflow intelligence and payment portal will be available at booth #1210.
