Submissions for the Healthcare Informatics 100, our annual listing of the top health IT vendors, based on revenue from the previous fiscal year, will be closing soon. But vendors still have some time to submit their company’s data!
This year’s version will be the 26th version of the list, which provides a unique financial overview of vendors active in the healthcare IT market. For the most part, corporate revenues are self-reported. As it has every year, however, the team of editors at Healthcare Informatics will be working with external consultants to ensure the most complete and comprehensive compendium possible.
In recent years, Healthcare Informatics added some elements to make the list an even better information resource for its readers. One major change was that on top of including provider-based revenue, that companies have historically listed, vendors are now also able to include health IT revenue derived in the payer, health information management, employer, and vendor-to-vendor markets as well. The same will hold true for this year’s rendition.
As Healthcare Informatics Editor-in-Chief Mark Hagland recently penned in a commentary, as the health IT vendor landscape has become more blurred in recent years, and as it continues to evolve, the Healthcare Informatics 100 provides the industry with a snapshot of what exactly is going on with vendors in the U.S. healthcare space. Hagland further wrote, “And thus, it’s very important for healthcare IT vendors to participate, both for the satisfaction they can gain from being a part of this unique industry compendium, and also because it helps us help our readers make sense of this rapidly evolving landscape.”
The Healthcare Informatics 100 will be published in May. The deadline to submit is April 21, 2017. You can submit your company’s data right here. We look forward to your submissions and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
