This Year, April 1 is an Important Date: HCI 100 Submissions Are Due

Nov. 9, 2011
This year, April 1 is actually a meaningful (not a prank!) date on our calendar at Healthcare Informatics, and that’s because we’re asking vendor companies to submit their data to us by that date, so that they can be included in the industry’s only authoritative company ranking, the Healthcare Informatics 100. Every year for a number of years, Healthcare Informatics has published the definitive ranking of vendors selling in the healthcare information technology space; and every year, the participation continues to grow.

Everyone knows about April Fool’s Day, a day celebrated in my countries and cultures around the world with practical jokes and pranks. Indeed, according to Wikipedia’s entry on the subject, “In 1996, Taco bell took out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times announcing that they had purchased the Liberty Bell to ‘reduce the country’s debt’ and renamed it the ‘Taco Liberty Bell.’” Hmm… well, that probably sounded cuter at the time of posting!

In any case, this year, April 1 is actually a meaningful (not a prank!) date on our calendar at Healthcare Informatics, and that’s because we’re asking vendor companies to submit their data to us by that date, so that they can be included in the industry’s only authoritative company ranking, the Healthcare Informatics 100. Every year for a number of years, Healthcare Informatics has published the definitive ranking of vendors selling in the healthcare information technology space; and every year, the participation continues to grow.

If your company has not yet submitted its data to our compendium—and it’s very easy—just click into the link on our homepage for details—please make sure to do so today. Your providing us with accurate, up-to-date information will ensure that the HCI 100 continues this year, as in the past, to be the definitive compendium of revenues data-based ranking of vendors in healthcare IT. That’s no joke—and we thank you for your participation!
