HIMSS Honors Clinicians with IT Leadership Awards

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society has announced the recipients of its clinician IT leadership awards: Carol Bickford, PhD, RN-BC, CPHIMS, and Kathleen Smith, RN-BC, FHIMSS with the HIMSS Nursing Informatics Leadership Award and Russell Leftwich, MD with the HIMSS Physician IT Leadership Award.

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society has announced the recipients of its clinician IT leadership awards: Carol Bickford, PhD, RN-BC, CPHIMS, and Kathleen Smith, RN-BC, FHIMSS with the HIMSS Nursing Informatics Leadership Award and Russell Leftwich, MD with the HIMSS Physician IT Leadership Award.  

They will receive their awards during the 2012 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition  Awards and Recognition Banquet on Thursday, Feb. 23, 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, Nev. Held in conjunction with HIMSS12, the banquet honors the 2011 AwardRecipients for their significant contributions to the Society, their organizations and the health IT profession.
