That’s why, for the first time, we at Healthcare Informatics have created a new recognition vehicle, the “Leading Edge Awards,” whose recipients will be recognized during the same reception in which we will be recognizing the winners of our annual Innovator Awards. While Innovators is solely designed to recognize provider accomplishments, we have opened up a separate recognition program to allow vendor companies to submit entries to “Leading Edge,” in one of three categories: interoperability, clinician workflow improvement, and cost savings.
