On October 30, Miami-based eMed Population Health, Inc., a platform for employer-sponsored preemptive health management, announced a new partnership with New York-based Thrive Global, founded by Arianna Huffington, to deliver an end-to-end obesity care program for employers.
The partnership combines eMed's employer-sponsored platform for GLP-1 with Thrive Global’s GLP-1 Companion program that provides support, personalized recommendations, and individual and group coaching to help employees develop healthy habits tailored to their GLP-1 journey. One of the goals of the partnership is to empower employers to mitigate GLP-1 side effects and increase ongoing adherence support while improving health outcomes in the workplace.
In August, eMed announced that it had appointed Linda Yaccarino, former CEO of X, as its new CEO.
