December 21, 2009– Konica Minolta announced today that the company has been awarded a three-year contract for CR systems with Premier Purchasing Partners L.P., the group purchasing unit of one of the nation’s largest healthcare purchasing networks. The contract begins January 1, 2010 and includes Konica Minolta’s industry leading dual bay Xpress CR and the single bay Nano CR.

Zinchini also surmises Xpress CR’s continued top ranking by MD Buyline users and consecutive Best in KLAS ratings helped contribute to Konica Minolta’s success in securing a Premier contract. For 17 straight quarters, MD Buyline’s users have rated Konica Minolta the top CR vendor, while the Xpress CR was named the best multi-bay CR by KLAS Enterprises in 2008 and 2009.
