McKesson’s care management work-flow solution gains new customers

NEWTON, Mass., April 27, 2010 – McKesson announced today that Family Health Network (FHN) of Chicago, Ill., is the latest to join the growing roster of customers for McKesson’s CareEnhanceR Clinical Management Software (CCMST).

Recently, five new customers have contracted and additionally six customers have gone live on this care management work-flow solution to improve decisions on where to focus their resources, and better coordinate care and communication.

FHN is the only non-profit organization providing healthcare to the participants of the many programs under the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The CCMS suite enables healthcare payers to deliver care management while optimizing resources. CCMS’ clinical content helps health plans make decisions that are based on clinical evidence, align with case and disease management practices, and meet accreditation and regulatory standards. More than 70 organizations covering over 21 million lives nationally use CCMS.
