Computerized Screening, Inc. (CSI) enters into partnership agreement with Consult a Doctor (CADR)

June 4, 2010

Computerized Screening, Inc. (CSI), a leader in integrated worksite self-assessment solutions, has announced a collaborative partnership agreement with Consult A Doctor (CADR), a leader in consumer-centric telemedicine services to revolutionize access to care through the convergence of integrated telehealth and telemedicine.

CSI and CADR have joined together to fill the need for cost-effective and accessible evidence-based medical care, technology, and patient education by facilitating innovative worksite and home-based telemedicine. Consumers have become more educated regarding the availability of alternative methods of accessing lower cost, high quality care, and the new partnership is well positioned to address current and future problems in the healthcare system, bringing change in the way medical care gets accessed and delivered.

CSI has provided convenient accessible healthcare through patient interactive kiosks for more than 32 years and has developed the first unattended clinic and remote medication management system available in their CSI Health Resource Center. CSI has created a powerful partnership empowering consumers with unlimited access to integrated care management, biometric assessment, personal health record creation and interaction with licensed doctors via the CSI Health Resource Center also known as the CSI Managed Health System Kiosk.

Industry statistics show that up to 70 percent of all doctor office visits are for common illnesses or basic medical questions and up to 66 percent of emergency room visits are non-emergencies, costing an average of $1,500 per visit. Integrated telehealth/telemedicine solutions can reduce health care costs for all payers by providing members with convenient, efficient access to medically equivalent care in a lower cost setting, thereby reducing unnecessary doctor and ER visits.
