BRIT Systems awarded DINPACS III contract

DALLAS, TX, April 17, 2012 – BRIT Systems has been awarded the DIN-PACS III (Digital Imaging Network  – Picture Archiving and Communications System) contract by the U.S. government, allowing BRIT to sell PACS and related devices, including their Critical Test Results Management (CTRM) solution, to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs  (VA) facilities. It is an indefinite quantity / indefinite delivery (ID/IQ) contract good through January 2014, with extension available through January 2017.

BRIT, a woman-owned business, was a subcontractor to IBM on the DINPACS I and DINPACS II projects, dating back to 1998, and has been a prime contractor on PACS implementations at multiple VA sites since 1997.  “BRIT is delighted to announce that the government has contracted with our smaller-sized company to provide these technically sophisticated solutions requiring rigorous security clearances,” said Shelly Fisher, President of BRIT Systems.  “We’ve stayed on the forefront of technology to provide reliable, secure, and responsive medical imaging solutions as demonstrated throughout the course of our work with the VA and Armed Forces.”
