Healthcare companies feel the urge to merge

Sept. 11, 2012

What are facilities doing about the changes in healthcare reform? Some hospitals and clinics are adapting and shifting with the anticipation of new laws, others are partnering together. This infographic, courtesy of CompHealth.com, showcases details around recent mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare space.

The “2012 Healthcare Mergers, Acquisitions, and Consolidation Survey” was conducted by the HealthLeaders Media Intelligence Unit, powered by the HealthLeaders Media Council. It is part of a monthly series of Thought Leadership studies. In October 2011, an online survey was sent to the HealthLeaders Media Council and select members of the HealthLeaders Media audience. Respondents work in hospital and health system settings. A total of 189 completed surveys are included in the analysis. Find out more at www.healthleadersmedia.com/intelligence.
