INDIAN WELLS, CA, October 17, 2012 – In celebration of CHIME’s 20th anniversary as the healthcare industry’s leading professional organization for chief information officers and other senior IT leaders, CHIME is honoring those who have maintained continuous membership since its inception with the Lifetime Membership designation.
“CHIME is proud to recognize those members who have contributed to CHIME’s success over the past 20 years,” said CHIME President and CEO Richard Correll. “CIOs have stepped into key leadership roles, not for personal glory or recognition, but for the purpose of helping their peers and promoting the wider use of health IT.”
The first group of Lifetime CHIME members were recognized today at the CHIME12 Fall CIO Forum in Indian Wells, Calif.
All Lifetime Members will carry the LCHIME designation.

Beginning in 2013, CHIME will award the Lifetime designation to members who have maintained membership for a minimum of 15 years and have either served on the CHIME Board of Trustees or achieved CHIME Fellow status.
