Bedford, Texas ― Jan. 15, 2013 ― On Jan. 1, Alliance Healthcare Solutions Inc. and Final Support Inc. merged to form Quatris Health, the largest privately held company authorized to sell and support GE Healthcareʼs Centricity Practice Solution. The new company builds on Alliance and Final Supportʼs combined 25 years of experience implementing, supporting and hosting one of the nationʼs leading practice management and electronic medical record software products.
Combining the resources of two established companies enables Quatris Health to expand its offerings and deliver its products and services in a more cost-effective way. “This merger of equals will benefit existing customers of both Alliance and Final Support, and make Quatris a strong competitor in the national health care technology marketplace,” said Mark Spates, Quatris Healthʼs chief executive officer.
While both Alliance and Final Support offered cloud data hosting services, the new company looks to develop this sideline into an essential part of the business. As of its formation, Quatris Health is responsible for the storage and backup of more than 18 million patient health records.
Over the next few months, the new company will focus on strengthening its relationship with GE Healthcare. “GE Healthcare looks forward to continuing to work closely with Quatris as this combined organization extends its reach to grow the Centricity business,” said Jack Salerno, general manager, commercial channels, GE Healthcare IT, in a statement from General Electric. “As an important member of our Centricity Channel Partner ecosystem, Quatris will support our drive to deliver best-in-class EMR solutions and high customer satisfaction.”
