Greenway customer demonstrates integrated Blue Button capability at HIMSS13

Pediatric Associates, Bellevue, Wash., demonstrated the integrated Blue Button capabilities of Greenway’s PrimePATIENT secure Web portal. The demonstration occurred as part of the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase at the invitation of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). Blue Button, originally developed by the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, has become a universal symbol for the advancement of consumer healthcare data access and engagement, enabling consumers to easily access their health data on demand and become more actively engaged in their own health management.
