M*Modal Fluency for Imaging is a highly integrated workflow and documentation platform allowing physicians to create accurate, complete and compliant multimedia clinical reports. This solution leverages cloud-based speech understanding to convert physician dictation to electronic and encoded documents that are searchable and shareable. In addition, the technology offers significant time savings by auto-populating clinical content from electronic health record and RIS/PAC systems – as well as delivering quality alerts – at the time of report creation.

“M*Modal Fluency for Imaging uses evidence-based decision support and real-time quality alerts to help these new customers to make more efficient and informed interpretations for referring physicians,” said Mike Raymer, M*Modal's senior vice president of solutions management. “With M*Modal's reporting tool, radiologists can generate information-driven workflows and interactive documentation at the point of interpretation, which can significantly improve productivity and accuracy.”

Radiologists benefit from natural language-understanding technology that identifies clinical terms and concepts, patients and populations in documentation. They can also leverage PQRS compliance indicators and critical findings workflow to ensure attending physicians get the right information.

In addition to creating clinical reports and managing workflow, radiologists can further extend M*Modal Fluency for Imaging's capabilities with M*Modal Catalyst for Radiology, which aggregates data across multiple clinical systems, creates problem lists and translates information into actionable insights
