Navicure continues to grow client base through first quarter of 2013

April 30, 2013

Atlanta, April 30, 2013—Navicure, a leading Internet-based medical claims clearinghouse, today announced the company’s first quarter revenue grew 32 percent compared to the same period in 2012. This growth was driven by physician practices’ need for a revenue cycle management solution to better manage and monitor the entire reimbursement process. The company also attributed its continued success to its top-ranked client services and commitment to providing educational practice management resources, such as The Daily Practice, a recently re-launched website for physician practices.

Navicure’s revenue cycle management solutions help practices increase profitability through improved claims reimbursement and staff productivity. During the first quarter of the year, the company added 247 new practices to its client base, including:

  • Cherokee Health Systems, an integrated federally qualified health center and community mental health center with more than 150 providers of medical, behavioral and dental services, including women's health and cardiology specialists in Knoxville, Tenn.
  • Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, a 45-provider multi-specialty clinic in Gainesville, Ga., that has been providing care to patients in the area for more than 60 years.
  • Physicians Alliance of Connecticut, a newly formed 80-provider multi-specialty group in Branford, Ct.

“When we were searching for a new clearinghouse, reliable customer service was one of our top requirements,” said Cindy O’Keefe, director of patient accounts at Cherokee Health Systems. “Navicure lived up to its reputation as a client-focused technology provider. Not only did Navicure’s Client Services team guide us through each step of the transition, but we found that our claim delivery, ERA connectivity and denial management processes were more productive than ever.”

In addition to providing clients with leading revenue cycle tools, a part of Navicure’s overall mission is to help clients learn about, manage and prepare for industry regulations such as ICD-10 and Meaningful Use. With this in mind, Navicure has re-launched The Daily Practice, an online resource and blog that provides robust resources for physician practices. The site provides access to white papers, webinars, ICD-10 preparation information and other resource guides.

“We are finding more practices are looking to clearinghouses not only for claims management improvement but also educational resources as the industry continues to face numerous regulation changes and updates,” said Jim Denny, founder, president and CEO of Navicure. “With resources like The Daily Practice and a knowledgeable client services team, we will continue to provide award-winning solutions and services to our customers and the industry so their bottom line remains as strong as possible.”
