Allscripts, TeleTracking enter healthcare solutions partnership

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions and TeleTracking Technologies announced that they will partner to integrate key functionality of their respective healthcare solutions. The integrations will connect the Allscripts Care Management platform with the TeleTracking patient flow and healthcare operational management platform. Additionally, the companies will resell each other’s solutions to make it easier for clients to buy two industry leading platforms at the same time.

As the healthcare industry transitions from fee-for-service to fee-for-value, and new reimbursement models incentivize providers to coordinate care, organizations seek solutions to optimize both acute and ambulatory resources and better manage the discharge process. The integration between Allscripts and TeleTracking will enable healthcare systems to optimize clinical resource utilization, deliver tools that close gaps in care, reduce avoidable costs (such as hospital readmissions), and bring enhanced efficiency to care transition and referral workflows.
