Helping to drive the growth at Global Works is the demand for experienced, knowledgeable project management and application consulting for electronic medical records. Global Works entered the EMR market through our partnership with Allscripts®; providing our industry experts with up to date training and access to new versions. In addition, Global Works history within the GE® market provided a natural segue to provide services for GE Centricity EMR clients.

Global Works professional services division initially focused on the GE Centricity Business (IDX) and this area continues to be the foundation of our services. Our consultants, programmers and developers provide project management, IT and business office interim staffing, and training.

Further contributing to our growth is the maturity of the Global Works software business:

• Through One Look physicians are able to access their patient appointment data within their personal Microsoft Outlook calendar offering a single view of a physician's day.

• The Form Letter System enables our clients to increase their employee productivity while dramatically improving their external communications through extensive automation, integration with various healthcare software systems, and full use of MS Word functionality.

• The Data Exchange ETL is a mainstay in the healthcare market empowering organizations to access their own data and deliver meaningful information. With the ETL foundation, Global Works has launched a Business Intelligence practice which is helping our existing clients leverage their data warehouses.

Founded in 1992 as a resource for clients needing to resolve complex challenges, Global Works has grown to over seventy-five employees. Our primary goal continues to be the improvement of our clients' healthcare systems.
