In the coming days, we at Healthcare Informatics will be posting a series of articles and editorial items leading up to the release of our publication’s annual offering, the Healthcare Informatics 100, on May 20th. The Healthcare Informatics 100 is a unique compendium of the top 100 healthcare information technology vendors operating in the U.S., ranked according to annual revenues. HCI has been publishing the 100 for decades, and we are proud to bring the 2013 Healthcare Informatics 100 to you, our readers. Our compendium is unique in its identity, comprehensiveness, and authority, in the industry, and is one of the most-sought-after pieces of content that we offer our readers every year.

In addition, every year, we publish an entire package of related editorial content. You will see profiles of the three “Most Interesting Vendors” for 2013—healthcare IT firms whose current trajectories and market positions are of particular interest to our readers; as well as profiles of eight “Up and Comers”—smaller, but growing vendor companies with noteworthy offerings and narratives to share with the industry.

And, we will be publishing the annual analysis of merger and acquisition activity by Ben Rooks, president of the San Francisco-based ST Advisors, and a noted industry authority on healthcare IT business activity.

And of course, we will be publishing the Healthcare Informatics 100 list itself, in a fully interactive format. All of these pieces of content will also be published in the June edition of Healthcare Informatics, of course.

We have been deeply gratified by the tremendous response and interest that our annual set of offerings has garnered, and we hope that the items encompassed by this set will be of interest and use to you, our readers, once again this year. Happy reading!
