Here is a notice about a meeting that might be worth attending via webcast or in person if you are in the Washington area. On Tuesday April 28 and Wednesday April 29, the executive subcommittee of the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (an advisory committee to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) will hold hearings on the definition of "meaningful use".

The meetings, taking place at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel in Washington, D.C., are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For an agenda, got to http://www.ncvhs.hhs.gov/090428ag.htm.
