Teodor Grantcharov, M.D., Ph.D., FACS, FRCS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He is also a clinical professor of surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and associate chief quality officer for innovation and safety at Stanford Health Care. He is the founder of Aimbient (formerly Surgical Safety Technologies), the only procedural ambient AI platform built to transform how health systems run, measure, and improve performance across the procedural environment.
