Pennsylvania’s Summit Health has selected the eHealth Accelerator by Mineola, N.Y.-based FatWire Software and Chicago-based Element115 to better offer consumers a view into the organization.

According to Summit, the new tools will give patients the ability to access information and subscribe to online resources, resulting in an increase of loyalty and a growing consumer base.

Specifically, the eHealth Accelerator creates, manages and delivers content to Summit’s Web site, offering consumers online access to physician specialties, clinical services and a health information library, the company says. The product was developed by Element115, a healthcare industry solution provider, and is powered by a FatWire content server.
