Lakeview Hospital, Stillwater, Minn., will automate its HIM department with workflow technology from Burlington, Mass.-based eWebHealth, a division of ChartOne.

According to the company, Lakeview's HIM department goal was to reduce the amount of space required for record storage, make it easier to access records, and lessen physicians' administrative burden.

Lakeview implemented the full eWebHealth Suite, a group of medical record workflow solutions via a software-as-a-service delivery model. Paper records are digitized and available on demand via the Web, giving physicians, coders and other hospital staff access to patient information.
