Christus Picks up Registration Tool

In an effort to improve registration accuracy, Dallas-based Christus Health has chosen hospital registration audit and reporting product, AccuReg, from Mobile, Ala.-based Database Solutions Inc.

AccuReg will be used to help validate the integrity of myriad data elements gathered at the time of service, and will enable patient access departments to self-correct, the company claims.

Christus Health is a Catholic, not-for-profit health system comprised of almost 350 services and facilities, including more than 50 hospitals and long-term care facilities, 175 clinics and outpatient centers, and dozens of other health ministries.
