Virginia Hospital Rolling Out Clinical Suite

Rockingham Memorial Hospital, a community hospital located in Harrisonburg, Va., is deploying a suite from Horsham, Pa.-based NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc. that will include a CHS (Community Health Solution), EHR, EPM (Enterprise Practice Management) and ICS (Image Control System).

According to the company, the suite will be implemented across the entire Rockingham Memorial ambulatory enterprise. NextGen EPM will be rolled out this month, with NextGen CHS and EHR scheduled for early 2010.

Rockingham Memorial is a 270-bed independent community hospital serving a seven-county region of Virginia. In June of 2010, Rockingham will open a new, 600,000-square-foot facility on a 254-acre site just east of Harrisonburg, in Rockingham County.
