Grant Opportunities Available through SIIM

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM, Leesburg, Va.) is currently accepting applications for the 2009 grant season.

SIIM offers two $50,000 grants for one year to support original hypothesis-driven research in the field of imaging informatics for residents, fellows, graduate students, and junior faculty. The expanded SIIM Grant Program includes four additional grant initiatives: a small grant for imaging informatics training, a small grant for product support development, an emeritus mentor grant and a micro grant. The SIIM Grant Program emphasizes an increased commitment to supporting and expanding imaging informatics research, says the company.
