Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s (WRAMC, Washington) Acute Pain Medicine Center has selected Draeger Medical’s Innovian Anesthesia information system to help monitor patient vital signs and create an EMR for its facilities.
According to Draeger, a Lüdbeck-based provider of medical and safety technology, Innovian Anesthesia is the information backbone that integrates information from patient monitoring, medical therapy devices and other ancillary information systems. It gives clinicians access to patient data, says the company, which helps to minimize the duplication of efforts that often occurs with paper record systems.
Draeger touts that together with WRAMC’s clinical question module, physicians can enter research questions for Innovian to track and compile data from all procedures.
