Health System Installing ED Information System

Willis-Knighton Health System, a four-hospital system in Shreveport, La., has deployed Addison, Texas-based Medhost emergency department information systems across all four of its hospitals.

According to the company, Willis-Knighton selected Medhost because the vendor has a track record of being able to integrate its application with the hospitals’ Meditech (Westwood, Mass.) HIS, and with other ancillary departments.
