Orlando Health has selected Emeryville, Calif.-based MedeAnalytics’ Patient Access Services that the company says will allow registration staff to estimate patient payment obligation, screen uninsured patients for charity care, identify demographic errors, verify insurance eligibility, and manage the financial counseling process using real-time business intelligence and Web-based workflow technology.

Orlando Health has been a development partner of MedeAnalytics’ full suite of advanced solutions and services since 2004.

Orlando Health is a $1.5 billion, not-for-profit organization and a community-based network of hospitals and care centers in the Orlando region. The organization, which includes the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Centers for adults and pediatrics, is a statutory teaching hospital system that offers both specialty and community hospitals.
