Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corporation is introducing a new version of its PeakPractice solution with functionality aimed at the clinical and financial needs of ambulatory surgery centers.

The updated solution offers a turnkey, integrated solution that can automate perioperative admissions, charting/documentation, physician preference of equipment and surgical supplies by procedure, and advanced supply chain management, says the company. PeakPractice also has the functionality to support electronically filing for both professional (HCFA 1500) and facility (UB04) billing, it touts.
