Ingenix (Eden Prairie, Minn.), a health information technology company, and Exante Financial Services (Minnetonka, Minn.), a financial services organization, have launched Exante Electronic Payments and Statements to health insurance plans nationwide.
According to Ingenix, Exante's electronic payments and statements can save payers 20 percent to 50 percent in administrative expenses by migrating providers to electronic payments and statements, says the health IT company.
Ingenix contends that the partnership provides an opportunity for both companies to reduce administrative expenses for plans and providers through electronic payments and remittances.
