United Hospital System, a regional healthcare system located in Kenosha, Wis., is deploying the perioperative Resource Management System from Chesterfield, Mo.-based Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (USA).

The first phase of the implementation will be surgery scheduling with automation of preference cards, followed by use of USA’s business intelligence tool, ForSite Analytics, according to the company. The physician-access Web portal will be deployed in the future in order to provide ubiquitous access to the surgery schedule, it says.

United Hospital System provides services to patients throughout southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, primarily through the Kenosha Medical Center Campus and the St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus and several other clinic locations.
