Woman’s Hospital, a not-for-profit organization based in Baton Rouge, La., has selected Cambridge, Mass.-based rL Solutions for its patient safety and quality of care initiatives.

The 225-bed, private hospital will utilize Risk MonitorPro for the tracking, management and analysis of adverse events, and Feedback MonitorPro to manage and report on patient feedback directly from the hospital floor. The software will also augment the other patient safety initiatives being undertaken in the hospital, the company says.

Woman’s Hospital operates one of the largest Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the country, caring for more than 1,500 babies each year. More than 8,000 babies are delivered at the facility each year, and more than 7,300 surgeries, 42,000 breast procedures and 86,000 Pap tests annually are performed.
