Riverside Deploys Patient Transfer Service

Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va., has implemented Salt lake City-based Central Logic’s patient transfer center software to streamline inter-facility patient transfers.

According to the company, Central Logic’s ForeFront Transfer Software will document, track and report patient transfer data, allowing nurses at 700-bed Riverside to quickly document a transfer.

The transfer center resides within a clinical call center that performs symptom-based triage, provides health information, class registration and serves more than 120,000 people per year.
