Nuance Communications Inc., a supplier of speech and imaging solutions based in Burlington, Mass., has launched PowerScribe Workstation 4.8, a speech recognition reporting solution for radiology.

According to the company, the new version support Internet Explorer Version 7, Windows XP, and has an updated report coding interface, which is voice enabled to allow users to enter various codes into reports for such functions as peer review, image quality and risk management.
