Dennis Porter, a health information strategist for Northrop Grumman Corporation (Reston, Va.), has been appointed the 2009-2010 Executive in Residence by the Arlington, Va.-based Institute for e-Health Policy for his leadership on the Federal Health Record Gateway project.
The Executive in Residence program is an opportunity for a senior executive in the business community to share expertise with the Institute for e-Health Policy, which is part of the HIMSS Foundation.
As the executive in residence, Porter will provide guidance and commercial expertise to the Federal Health Record Gateway project, as well as support the Institute on programs and initiatives of significance to the electronic health community.
