HealthCare Insight (Sandy, Utah) has formed a strategic alliance with MZI (Valencia, Calif.) in an effort to help benefit administrators improve payment accuracy and prevent losses associated with fraudulent claims.
The partnership combines MZI's EZ‑CAP, a benefit and claims adjudication software that provides access to data, with HealthCare Insight's clinical review and fraud analysis services which identifies outliers, decreases overpayments, and detects potential fraud schemes, says the company.
According to HealthCare Insight, a provider of health plan administration software, it combines Code Validator Pro and Fraud Finder Pro software systems that analyze suspect claims, including a review of patient and provider historical information, national databases, and peer-provider comparisons.
