Iron Mountain Acquires RMS Services

Boston-based Iron Mountain Incorporated, a provider of information protection and storage services, has acquired RMS Services (Southfield, Mich.), a $27 million records management company and a provider of outsourced file room solutions for hospitals.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IronMountain will be retaining former RMS employees and says it is committed to ensuring that customers will be supported by the same staff presently servicing its accounts. Additionally, Ed Santangelo, former RMS president and CEO, and his leadership team will be joining IronMountain, says the company.
