Six health systems have inked deals to replace existing OR and anesthesia information systems (AIS) with solutions from Wakefield, Mass.-based Picis in an effort to expand clinical interoperability, according to the company.

  • Bellevue Hospital Center (New York) plans to implement Picis’ total perioperative automation suite.
  • Enloe Medical Center (Chico, Calif.) selected Picis Anesthesia Manager.
  • Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital (Salinas, Calif.) is upgrading its existing Picis medSURG information system. It also added anesthesia and PACU documentation automation to replace a legacy.
  • The Ottawa Hospital (Ontario) has extended its OR Manager implementation toward total perioperative automation.
  • Tufts Medical Center (Boston) has selected Picis OR Manager, SmarTrack and Extelligence as part of an initiative to improve the organizational capability of its ORs.
  • University Health System (San Antonio, Texas) selected Picis Anesthesia Manager, Preop Manager and Extelligence modules for total perioperative automation.
