EHNAC Seeks Public Review

The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC, Farmington, Conn.) has posted version 9.4 of its Healthcare Network Accreditation Program (HNAP) criteria for general public review and comment.

According to EHNAC, changes in V.9.4 include adding HIPAA rule # references to criteria, adding additional hyperlinks, and revising site reviewer scoring. Under the new scoring schema, site reviewers have 3 choices: Pass (1), Partial with Recommendation (0.5) and Fail (0), says the organization.

The comment period will last 60 days from October 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007. To review the Criteria go to http://www.ehnac.org/content/view/27/63/ and select version 9.4.
