CoActiv Medical, Ridgefield, Conn., has announced an EXAM-PACS donation program for qualifying educational institutions with accredited radiologic technologist training programs. The initiative has been tested with several RT Programs, including Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and Bergen County Community College in New Jersey.

As part of the program, qualifying schools will receive a complete, full-featured EXAM-PACS application free of charge as well as access to the CoActiv cloud-based EXAM-VAULT QUAD-REDUNDANT ARCHIVING system for radiology instructional images and related data. The colleges also will receive complimentary system setup and instructor training as well as access to required hardware at cost. All radiologic technology students and instructors at participating schools will have their own EXAM-PACS log-ins entitling them to unlimited use of the system throughout their association with the school, according to the company.

The CoActiv Radiologic Technologist Donation program will be rolled out on a state by state basis, beginning in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
