The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices has issued an RFP for work to be performed on behalf of the State Alliance for e-Health.

The intent of the study is to examine the options around financing and accountability for health information exchange under various operational and business models. NGA says the study should yield an analysis of exchange models from health and non-health fields, and guidance to states on the options related to charges levied, oversight structures, and accountability mechanisms.

A letter of intent in response to the RFP is due Jan. 8, with proposals to be submitted by close of business Jan. 22.
