Milwaukee-based Merge Healthcare is launching two new web applications, Cedara WebAccess and Cedara WebScheduler, through its OEM division.

The solutions are plug-in portals designed to help expedite and automate tasks such as patient and resource scheduling, and image and information distribution, according to the company.

Cedara WebAccess is a DICOM viewer that facilitates the distribution of radiology images and reports to referring physicians via the Internet. Users can access images and information without waiting for an application or file to download, says the company. The Cedara WebScheduler provides centralized capabilities for managing and scheduling imaging resources, and includes features like patient scheduling, dashboard monitoring of room utilization, and modality worklist management.
