Addison, Texas –based Medhost, has integrated with the FreeNET Voice over Wireless Fidelity (VoWiFi) system from Switzerland-based Ascom, a developer of workplace wireless communication solutions.
Interoperability with Ascom means that messages and alerts, including test results, patient reassessment reminders, patient registration or discharge generated in Medhost can be distributed to multiple types of wireless devices carried by emergency department clinicians.
