Continuum Health Partners, a five-hospital New York-based non-profit healthcare system, has selected Ericom Software's PowerTerm WebConnect in an effort to provide doctors and staff with remote access to medical applications and confidential patient information.

According to Ericom (Closter, N.J.), a provider of application access solutions, its software enables the organization to provide its medical and administrative staff with centrally managed access to the terminal server-based GE PRISM medical application, improving caregiver productivity, and enabling compliance with HIPAA and other industry regulations.
