California Coast Medical Center, a family medicine practice based in Huntington Beach, has received funding from the California Medical Foundation under the Technical Assistance Project (TAP) program to implement Atlanta-based MedcomSoft’s EMR.

The EMR is integrated with a practice management system, e-prescribing, and a variety of other functionalities, according to the company.

California Coast Medical Center is a patient-centered family practice, serving a large minority population.
