Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle is creating a new global business unit focused on software applications for the health sciences industry.
According to the company, the new organization is designed to help health sciences organizations discover, develop and market innovative products and services to prevent and cure disease, enhance quality of life and meet shareholder and stakeholder expectations.
Neil de Crescenzo was named senior vice president and general manager for the business unit.
